Guitars were strummed, horns were blown, keys were struck, drums were beat and wind was blown.
On April 16, Cosumnes River College's jazz band presented their jazz sounds on a windy Wednesday afternoon to an audience of about 70 people.
The band performed jazz classics such as "Take Your Pick" by Hank Mobley and "On Green Dolphin Street" by Kaper & Washington in the Communications, Visual and Performing Arts quad.

major at the star gazing party held on April 20.
Earth Week 2008 kicked off with a star gazing party
hosted by the Public Speaking 301 class.
"[We hosted the event] because we wanted to be part
of earth day, but we couldn't participate in the day events
because we are a night class and a lot of my students are
hard working and couldn't make it," said Communications

Cosumnes River College's women's basketball coach and physical education professor Coral Sage has been training for the past three months to get as fit as she possibly can to support a cause she truly believes in.
"She is a good example to her students in fitness as she is a tri-athlete.
