Q: How do you feel you have played this season?
A: Baseball is a team sport. Collectively we have played well.

Q: What goals does the team have for the post season?
A: There is one ultimate goal: win a State Championship. There are minor goals that help us achieve our ultimate goal, such as winning our division, the Big 8 and leading our league in statistical categories such as ERA and Errors.

Q: What do you think about how the team has played this season?
A: Every team has its ups and downs in a sport, baseball especially. It is such a long season, that it is important to stay even-leveled and consistant. As a team we have played very well throughout the whole season.

Q: Are there any rivalries the team has within the division?
A: Sacramento City, Sierra College and Diablo Valley College are our three main rivals. We respect everybody but come game day our goal is to bury the competition. We try to play the game not the team.

Q: How has the coaching staff helped the team achieve their goals this season?
A: Coach Bloomfield keeps the players in check on and off the field. His presence is comforting in the dugout as well as during mound visits. Coach Shuler always has something constructive to say and isn't afraid to share it. This helps players battle adversities. Coach Carolyn is a positive force who is always there to provide a helping hand and a warm
smile.

Q: What have games on the road been like this season?
A: We have had two major overnight road trips. Both have been very fun. As a team we watch movies, eat dinner and socialize. There are no cliques on our team so everybody hangs out all the time. We play great "would you rather" games.

Q: Has the team had any obstacles they have overcome this season?
A: Weather was a factor early on. Injuries have depleted our infield.

Q: Does the team have any pre-game rituals or traditions?
A: Coach Bloomfield pulls us all together before every game. He gives us positive reinforcement and encouragement before every game, at bat and pitch.
